With over 75 percent of our members residing in South Kitsap, we are genuinely interested in participating as team members in the delivery of the best fire and EMS protection possible for our citizens and neighbors.
The term "union" is defined as "people grouped together for a specific purpose". What makes our membership unique is the fact that we are professionals who have chosen the fire service as a career. Both individually and as an organization, we are proud of the professionalism we represent and the dedication to the citizens that we serve.
The Local is operated by an Executive Board consisting of a president, a vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and political action coordinator. It is the responsibility of the Executive Board to enforce the I.A.F.F's constitution and by-laws and to be the representative for Local 2876 to the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters.
